Held on the first Friday of the month, the Santa Fe Art Walk is a recurring opportunity for locals and visitors alike to enjoy all that our local galleries have to offer. There are many galleries that get involved, allowing for a wide variety of pieces on display.

Georgia O’Keeffe Museum

Georgia O’Keeffe had a passion for New Mexico, and it’s visible throughout her extensive artistic catalog. Museumgoers will enjoy learning more about one of the most iconic artists of our time who once described her work as an attempt to express “the wideness and wonder of the world as I live in it.”

New Mexico History Museum

Another unique stop popular for visitors on their own Santa Fe Art Walk is the New Mexico History Museum. This state museum features donated artifacts that include jewelry, pottery, paintings, and more that help tell the story of our ancestors.

The museum has several exhibits on showcase throughout the year. Be sure to check back in as they share more about the history of Santa Fe and the people who make it one of the most special places in the Southwest.
